Big Top Theatre
is Loudoun's animal free circus.
Run by the famous Chipperfields
family, who have entertained families
around Britain for generations, the Big Top Theatre opened at Loudoun in
2006.
The shows last about half an hour and
feature traditional circus acts like comedy clowns and plate spinning, as
well as impressive physical displays of wheel gymnastics and
aerial
acrobatics.
An amazing two trapeze artists contort and pose in various positions,
about 20 feet up in the air before plunging
down head first and bouncing back up, missing the ground
by inches.
There's even a visit from everyone's favourite dysfunctional American
family, as Bart Simpson
entertains the kids with his gymnastic moves.
