Dougal McDougal's Farm
is Loudoun's "hands on" farm and petting zoo, located in the Dougal
McDougal's Farm area of the park.
The lush fields of the Loudoun Castle Estate display sheep, goats, highland cattle and deer in their
natural surroundings, while the stable block area allows children and
adults to get close up to tamer animals.
Visitors can stroke rabbits,
llamas,
ponies,
pigs,
goats
and lambs -
a young child's first experience of what could become a life-long love
of animals.
There's also a working
model of a dairy
cow in the middle of the block, giving you the chance to
test your milking skills!
The Reptile Room
is located in part of the stable complex.
