Loggers Leap is
Loudoun's signature water ride - a classic log flume.
The ride consists of a very simple, traditional layout - a short water
canal which twists
round past the fields of animals in Dougal
McDougal's Farm, before turning to approach the incline.
The log themed boats follow this track round and up the incline, before
hurtling down the steep drop and splashing into the reservoir of water
below.
Logger's Leap was built by French company Reverchon when the
park opened in 1995 and has remained popular to this day.
The ride was later upgraded by John H Rundle Ltd of
England, the same company who built the Wallace Flyer road
train.
