Milk Churn is an intense spinning ride which uses centrifugal force to pin riders to the walls!

It may look small, but Milk Churn is surprisingly intense.
The ride is a "Round-up" model, designed by American engineer Frank Hrubetz
and comprises of a round cage with 34 compartments around the edge.

There are no real restraints, as none are needed, but a loose bar is pulled down in front of riders to ensure nobody leaves their compartment before the ride starts.

The cage spins clockwise, building up sufficient speed to pin riders back to the walls before lifting up on its arm!

Tilt angle = 60°
Capacity = 32 per ride
Restriction: Over 1.3m

The  universal name for this type of attraction is a "Sticky walls" ride, due to the manner in which it holds riders in place. They are very popular on the fairground circuit but less common in theme parks. Milk Churn arrived at Loudoun in 2003, when Henk Bembom took over the park.
