Pony Trek is
a mechanical horseback ride in Dougal McDougal's Farm!
Designed and built by Metallbau
Emmeln,
the ride consists of a twisting monorail style track which winds round
the field below Barnstormer. Eight two-seater horses move round the
track, passing show jumps and other equestrian equipment!
Adding
to the realism of whole experience, all the horse rocks backwards and forwards
as it moves along the track and even produces a whinnying sound
every so often!
Pony Trek opened in 2003, as
one of the first rides installed by the new owner, Henk Bembom.
