Regatta is a fun,
fast, galleon themed carousel!
The ride consists of sixteen
galleon themed carriages which surround a
rock skull in the middle. As the boats go round in a circle,
they also glide up and
down, as if on high seas, on the wavy track below.
Built
by
Zamperla, the ride came to Loudoun in 2006, along with the
Big Top Theatre. Each carriage fits two people and is
attached to the middle part of the ride by a long beam.
Regatta is probably one of the better themed rides in Pirate Cove.
