• Dress for the weather! If it's overcast, remember to bring a coat! If it's a scorcher, wear light clothing.
• Plan ahead! If possible, try to avoid days which will be most busy. Bank holidays and weekends will always be busier than weekdays in the summer months.
• Wear your entrance wristband - just in case you're asked to show it!
• Make sure you put any coins/keys/phones in zipped pockets when on rides that go upside down. You wouldn't want to lose them!
• Bring cash with you or take some out at the entrance booths. There aren't any cash machines within the park.
• If you're not sure check, your own height against the ride restrictions before you go. It's always better to avoid disappointment.
• Stick to the paths, be considerate of other visitors and play by the rules. You don't want to be a nuisance!
• Find out the times of the shows you want to see, and fit your day around them!
• Use the map to find your way about. Loudoun's easy enough to navigate, but if you know where you're going, you'll get there quicker!
• Ask for help if you need it! The staff are there to make your day more enjoyable, so if your restraints are too tight just ask for a hand!
• Bring a camera or think about buying an on-ride photo! It's nice to have something to remind you of your day!

Don't...

• Don't leave valuables on show in your car! The car park is generally safe, but it's best not to chance it.
• Make sure you aren't behaving or talking in a manner which may upset other visitors. Enjoy yourself, of course, but not at the expense of others. It's their day out too.
• Remember not to smoke inside buildings, in queues or on rides. It's not just park policy - in Scotland, it's the law!
• Never jump the queue! The lines at Loudoun are never too long but don't be tempted even if it's busy! It isn't fair on other visitors and you may be asked to leave the park.
• No animals are allowed in the park, so leave your pets at home.
• Don't drop litter on the ground. There are many dustbins provided for you at Loudoun, to help keep the park tidy.
