Wacky Worm is
Loudoun's family coaster and is a fun ride for those not yet
ready to ride Twist and
Shout or The
Rat.
Designed and built by I.E. Park,
the ride consists of a figure-eight
shaped track on two levels, with a bumpy section and an 11ft drop. During
one ride, this circuit is completed twice.
The cars are intended for children so they may be a little tight for
adults.
It has an orange track with purple supports and
an unusual train, in the shape of a caterpillar.
The ride was brought to the park in 2003, to replace an
identical ride which had been removed when the previous owners of
Loudoun Castle left.
